NordAN will host a webinar on alcohol and cancer on October 28, focusing on the awareness problem in the Nordic countries.
As part of the project on alcohols role as a cancer-causing risk factor, funded by Stiftelsen Ansvar för Framtiden, the webinar brings together cancer societies and NGO-s to learn from each other and share ideas how to improve the awareness in our countries.
Speakers include
Dr Eeva Ollila from the Cancer Society of Finland,
Carina Alm from the Norwegian Cancer Society,
Dr Jóhanna Eyrún Torfadóttir from the Icelandic Cancer Society,
Anne Sofie Plum Christensen from the Danish Cancer Society
Per Leimar from IOGT-NTO from Sweden.
NordAN executive director Lauri Beekmann will give an overview of the project so far.
