iPAAC warmly invites you on behalf of the Cancer Society of Finland, IARC, THL and ECL, to attend the Innovative Partnership for Action Against Cancer (iPAAC)’s WP5 final online conference on 22 February 2021 from 12:30 - 3.30pm CET.
The Innovative Partnership for Action Against Cancer (iPAAC) Joint Action brings together 24 Associated Partners (with Affiliated Entities, 44 partners) across Europe whose main objectives are to build upon deliverables of the CANCON Joint Action and to implement innovative approaches to cancer control.
A Roadmap on Implementation and Sustainability of Cancer Control Actions to help EU Member States in the implementation of iPAAC and CANCON recommendations will be the main deliverable of this Joint Action.

The iPAAC’s Work Package 5 (WP5) concerns cancer prevention. WP5 leader is the Cancer Society of Finland and the Associated Partner is The Finnish Institute for Health and Welfare (THL). Find out more here: https://www.ipaac.eu/en/work-packages/wp5/
Aims of the conference
1. Discuss cancer prevention strategies across Europe with a focus on their implementation
2. Identify best practices, success stories and innovative solutions in cancer prevention
3. Contribute to iPAAC's Roadmap on Implementation and Sustainability of Cancer Control Actions
4. Contribute to European action planning on policies to advance cancer prevention and health promotion
Conference format
Introductory plenary and keynote presentation followed by co-creational working groups led by an appointed Chair through the teleconferencing platform Zoom.
