The privacy statements of the Eurocare website

Eurocare values the protection and confidentiality of personal data. Therefore, we comply with applicable data privacy legislation in relation to processing personal data. We provide users opportunity to unsubscribe from our mailing lists through an ‘’unsubscribe’’ button which is available at the bottom of emails.

Eurocare will use personal data only for the purpose for which is given permission. Eurocare will not sell, rent, loan, trade or lease any personal information collected online or offline. All information shall be kept absolutely confidential unless given consent to by the user.

Eurocare will not share personal information with others. However, to avoid people receiving multiple invitations to the same co-organised event, Eurocare reserves the right to share your first name, last name, and employer with partner organisation to avoid duplication of the final invitation lists. We will not share phone numbers, email, address or any other contact information.

Eurocare uses secure data networks that are protected by password protection systems. Eurocare’s security and privacy policies are periodically reviewed and enhances as necessary. Only authorized individuals have access to the information provided by our contacts. Our databases are located in Belgium, Norway and Internet platform Mailchimp.

Consent to be emailed can be withdrawn by clicking the ‘’unsubscribe’’ link at the bottom of any email.

All can ask for a copy of the personal information Eurocare has about you. All have the right to at any time access, modify, correct and remove of personal data collected in our database.

Cookie-policy: Eurocare site does not store any personal data from the visitors. There are third party applications, however, that use cookies to guarantee a proper functioning i.e. Google analytics, for visitors' frequency and geographical data. Also here, no personal data is stored, only IP addresses. If you want to, you can always adapt or turn off these particular cookies in the cookie-settings of your web browser. This will not affect the proper functioning of Eurocare website.

Eurocare only collects personal data that has been given to us, either personally or third parties give us in the context of a service requested by them (e.g. in the context of an application form).

Eurocare only collects the personal data needed to carry out a service requested by you (or by a third party). Eurocare only processes these data in certain situations:

  • if permission has been given for this;
  • or, if it is necessary to process the data in order to provide a service you have requested (e.g. your address to send a publication or your bank account number to pay out to);
  • or, if we are legally obliged to process the data (e.g. your ID number to issue a pass to the European Parliament);
  • or, if it is necessary in the public interest or for a legitimate purpose (e.g. displaying organisations and persons who have received financial support on our website);

Data about persons who are minors and sensitive personal data (e.g. health information or bank account numbers) are always treated as confidential and never made public. Personal data are only used for the service requested (unless the conditions described in the paragraph above are met. We never pass on contact details to third parties for commercial purposes.

Eurocare keeps only personal data for the time needed to perform the service requested. Eurocare may also decide to collect some data in an aggregated form over a longer period in order to evaluate and make adjustments to its own activities (e.g. website visitors, newsletter opening track record).

Data are processed in a way that is safe. We therefore use various security technologies and measures to protect your data from unauthorized access, use, loss or publication. These technologies and measures are tested on a regular basis and updated if necessary.
